We’ve been seeing alot of interest in the Dutchess County Fair website this week. I always thought it was mostly for the fair, but I was wrong! They have all kinds of stuff going on this spring. Check out their calendar for details.
You golfers out there may want to check out this years special golf events over at Casperkill in Poughkeepsie. Fees include the green fee, golf cart, and prizes!

Every year Scenic Hudson organizes a volunteer clean up of the banks of the Hudson River, from Manhattan to the Adirondack Mountains. Last year 5,800 volunteers cleaned up 72 tons of garbage. This year’s cleanup runs from April 17-25, and they hope to do even better. If you’re interested in volunteering, call the hotline at (845) 473-TIDE or e-mail volunteer@scenichudson.org.
