Fern Handcrafted Furniture was founded in Brooklyn, New York by designer and maker, Jason Roskey in 2009. Currently, the company is based in New York’s Hudson Valley region where we continue crafting heirloom-quality furniture, lighting and objects from American hardwoods.
We operate our studio in Germantown, NY and our retail showroom is located in Hudson, NY. The Upstate New York location allows Fern Handcrafted Furniture access to some of the country’s finest hardwoods, and to fully realize our goal of designing and making contemporary, timeless pieces using sustainable practices.
Fern’s production line of furniture can be customized in terms of dimensions and wood selection. We work with our clients to help them select timbers that make each piece unique, no matter the design form. Our relationships with small mills around the New York area and the Pacific Northwest allow us access to select American hardwoods that are unique in nature.
