Barton Orchards is a 175-acre pick your own apple orchard and vegetable farm located in the Mid-Hudson Valley in Dutchess County.

You can visit the Ice Cream Stand to try their famous Apple Cider Donut Sundae, grab something to eat and visit the Farm Market. Barton’s also has a great selection of local craft beer, wine and cider at the Tap Room, with beautiful outdoor seating areas. Be sure to visit the farm animals, dog park and playgrounds while you’re there. There are some really great festivals scheduled throughout the year.

During the year, especially during the fall harvest season, Barton Orchards festivals scheduled full of live music, fun family activities, great food, and games. As a venue open to the public, we offer a variety of food and beverage options. Beer, wine, spirits are available in the Tap Room. Hot and cold drinks can be found in our concession areas and the Farm Market. Food items range from hamburgers, hot dogs and fries to ice cream and paninis. Barton Orchards welcomes well behaved dogs to the farm! Dogs must be leashed throughout the farm, with the exception of our dog park where they are allowed to run off leash. Dogs are allowed throughout the farm, including the orchard when picking. They are not allowed in the vegetable garden, inside buildings or in the corn maze.

For The Kids

Barton Orchards offers unlimited hayrides with your admission along with entertainment, a hay maze, playground, shooting gallery, duck races and gem stone mining bags for purchase. Active children, teenagers, and adults definitely enjoy weekends in the Fun Zone or wandering the corn maze. There is plenty of walking trails, animals to feed, and sunshine! You’ll get a good scare at the haunted house – suitable for ages 6 and up.
