Mead Orchards is a family run 180-acre fruit orchard and vegetable farm, located in the beautiful Mid-Hudson River Valley of New York.

They grow nearly 40 varieties of apples, as well as peaches, pears, plums, cherries, strawberries and other berries. They also grow a wide variety of delicious greens, summer vegetables, winter squashes, pumpkins, and decorative gourds. You can pick-your-own during the harvest season.

Mead Orchards is located about 100 miles north of Manhattan, 50 miles south of Albany, and just 4 miles east of the Hudson River. On Weekends during the harvest season (plus the national Monday holidays of Labor Day and Columbus Day), some of the fruits and berries are available for you to “pick-your-own.” Mead Orchards also brings produce to several regional farmers markets throughout the week.
