Step away from your busy life for awhile and spend some time on the farm. Pick your own produce, visit our farm stand, and taste our fresh pressed apple cider. The Orchards of Concklin bakery will tease your taste buds with delicious pies, cookies, and pasteries. If you can’t make it to us, we’ll come to you. We attend numerous farm markets throughout the tri-state area.
The Orchards of Concklin History
The Concklins first came to America in 1637 from Nottingham, England. The family migrated to Rhode Island, then across to Long Island and then to Eastchester in Westchester County. Nicholas Concklin sailed across the Hudson to Haverstraw and walked inland to the Pomona region in 1711. There he bought 400 acres of the Kakiat patent Lot No. 1. The family owned and farmed the land continuously through the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the first metropolitan pressures of the early 20th century.
