Altamont Manor is an 1894 restored Victorian manor banquet and wedding facility with a private secluded location, formal gardens, spacious landscaped surroundings. The Altamont Manor offers the perfect setting for your wedding.
As you come up the steps onto the veranda and through the ornate wooden entryway you will be surrounded by beautiful original woodwork leading you into the bar. The bar itself is an original masterpiece of craftsmanship as it curves through the room, leading into the dining room and round room. The dining room is an expansive space with room to seat 150 guests as well as a dance floor. At the head of the room you will find a beautiful glimpse of the Hudson river valley, extending as far as Massachusetts on a clear day. As you make your way to the other end of the room you will step into the round room, encircled with french windows, it is the perfect place to showcase your wedding cake.
We are a small family run business that has been hosting weddings for over 25 years. When we purchased the Manor in 1988 there was much work to be done. The once beautiful gardens had been overrun by the forest, and the once grand house had fallen into disrepair. Over our many years here, we’ve restored both the building and it’s surroundings to their current state. It took years of hard work with help from family and friends to turn the Manor into what it is today.
