The first sign of spring in Upstate New York is the Capital District Garden & Flower Show. You’ll see fully blooming flowers exploding with color. You’ll hear the lullaby of trickling water from the many waterfalls and ponds. You’ll smell the luscious fragrance from the first flowers of the season. We welcome you to enjoy the brilliant features of the 31st Annual Capital District Garden & Flower Show. Partial proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit Wildwood Programs.
The show highlights include plants, bulbs, flowers & seeds available for sale • NYS wineries (tastings) • soil testing by Cornell Cooperative Extension with a minimum donation of $1 • plant society & educational booths • lectures, workshops & live cooking and flower demonstrations • tips & trends • Garden Cafe with sandwiches, salads, soups, coffee and more • bring your camera to capture the spectacular sights but no tripods please.
The Gardens are the main attraction at the Capital District Garden & Flower Show featuring 17,000 sq. ft. of full scale landscape exhibits. It takes months of planning to design the exhibits and to force the flower’s blooms. Constructing the displays take five long days (and nights) and over 4,000 man hours to complete. The results are a feast for the senses. We hope you enjoy!
