Foster’s Coach House Tavern has been serving guests since 1890 and takes you back in time, not only with its cozy period atmosphere but with their old fashioned attention to customer service and detail. Foster’s is located in the heart of historic Rhinebeck, NY and takes great pride in serving superior food and drink.

Foster’s Coach House Tavern, originally called “The Village Tavern,” was built by Walter Decker in 1890. Wally Foster bought the Tavern after World War II and rebuilt the interior as it still remains today. Unique horse stalls serve as dining booths and famous racing pictures and bits cover the walls.

Many old time favorites include, burgers, steaks, Italian dishes, home style turkey dinners, baked clams and the house specialty…..London broil.

There are several rooms available for the purpose of hosting private parties.
