Owner John Cox started off as a custom cabinet maker. After moving to the Hudson Valley he realized that there was a shortage of wooden barrels for the areas distilling and brewing businesses. It was then that Cox took a sidestep to the woodworking specialty of cooperage (barrel making).
Quercus Cooperage crafts a selection of finely made wooden barrels that can be used for more than industrial uses. These wonderful barrels have found a place at weddings and other events as well as home decor.
