Township Valley Farm located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains is a family operated farm raising certified organic mushrooms and garlic.

Located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in New York State, our focus is on growing the highest quality organic garlic and organic mushrooms from the highest quality organic seed. Certified Organic by NOFA-NY, the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York.

At Township Valley Farm we believe excellent tasting food can be grown without the environmental and health risks that are the results of chemical intensive farming. As farmers we never use chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides or genetically modified seed. We strive to be a year-round local source for high quality food using the highest quality practices for all crops grown at our farm. The result is safe food and a healthy environment.

All of our Garlics are Hardneck Varieties. We currently grow 3 strains, Spanish Roja, Tuban Uzbekistan and a Porcelian Garlic called Music. We are fruiting Shiitake, Yellow and Blue Oyster mushrooms.

We grow a variety of gourmet mushrooms, selling at farmers’ markets in the Catskills, Hudson River Valley, and surrounding areas, as well as directly to local restaurants. We believe that the best tasting, highest quality, and most sustainable farming happens without chemicals and pesticides, and that’s exactly how we grow our mushrooms.
