Rusty Plough Farm is a family farm in Ellenville NY growing NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC vegetables, flowers & berries. They also offer (non-certified) eggs from their own hens & ducks, occasional honeybee products and a few hand-crafted items.
The 40 acre farm includes crop fields; wild blueberry stands; woodlots; a pond; a maze of old stone walls; wild turkeys, deer, hawks, squirrels, bunnies, owls; the occasional bear; multitudes of frogs & newts; Sneakers the barncat; and the house, barn, chicken coop and greenhouses.
On approximately four acres, Rusty Plough Farm produces a wide variety of yummy produce & cheery bouquets. There’s greens, tomatoes, cukes, eggplant, onions, garlic, green & yellow beans, radishes, turnips, herbs, squash and much more. At the farmers’ market they’re known as the “lettuce folks”; Rusty Plough Farm lettuce is in-season all-season-long.
