Cemeteries of Westchester, presented by Patrick Raftery, Librarian for the Westchester County Historical Society, is considered one of the leading authorities on the cemeteries of Westchester County and The Bronx and has authored four volumes on the subject. In this 60-minute illustrated slideshow he will describe the different types of burial grounds, tombstones, and funeral customs while detailing some of Westchester’s many fascinating “final resting places.”
