Chowderfest In Troy NY

Chowderfest brings the community together in downtown Troy for a day of chowder sampling, entertainment, crafts and family fun. Downtown will be loaded with sampling chowder, soup, and other delicious treats from a diverse group of restaurants and purveyors at the return of ChowderFest on Sunday, October 9 starting at 12 p.m. The event is free to attend and will feature $2 four-ounce samples for purchase at all participating locations. There is no up-front cost or presale ticket required to enjoy ChowderFest, as all samples will be purchased a la carte.

Businesses in Downtown Troy locations will serve out of their storefronts, while cooks from outside the downtown perimeter will serve in partnership with a downtown business. Entertainment and craft vendors will be located throughout the district as well. This is an all-ages free event, families and students are invited to discover something new and support local merchants.

The 16th Annual Downtown Troy ChowderFest is sponsored by Troy Redevelopment Foundation, CDTA, Callanan Industries, CD Perry, Times Union, Troy Innovation Garage, and Stewart’s Shops.
