Dig into the 1920s and 30s passion for Egyptian-inspired design sparked by the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb known as Egyptomania, a brief period in the early 20th century when Americans and Europeans became obsessed with all things Egypt. Our speaker, Lucy Jane Santos, will cover all things Nile Style including fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, architecture, cinema, and music in this entertaining and aesthetically delightful talk.
