Friday Oct/27/2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pmFree Event

Food is an important part of culture. Food defines us and shapes the way that we live and feel. Immigrants bring the cuisine of their country of origin to wherever they go and that food tells a story about who they are and where they come from. Food traditions are a staple of every culture around the globe; it is a way to connect people across generations and geography.
Learn more about cultural food traditions via our new exhibition Taking Root: Immigrant Stories of the Hudson Valley, on view at The Reher Center Friday-Sunday from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
