In celebration of Pride Month, the Warner Library will be hosting a special screening of the 1993 Academy-award-winning film “Philadelphia” which stars Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington on Thursday, June 22nd at 6:30 PM.

“Philadelphia” is notable for being one of the first mainstream Hollywood films not only to explicitly address HIV/AIDS and homophobia but also to portray LGBTQ people in a positive light.

The screening will take place on the 3rd Floor of the Library. Free and open to all.
