Haverstraw Riverwide Arts and the Village of Haverstraw, NY are celebrating the diverse culinary options Downtown with the 9th annual “Flavors of Haverstraw Food Crawl” – a small plates or tapas-focused food sampling. The Crawl begins in the Webster Bank lot: 38 New Main St.

Over 20 restaurants are participating. Tastings are $5-$10 per plate. New Main, Broadway, Main St. and West St. will be closed to vehicular traffic. Tents, tables and chairs will be set up for patrons on New Main and Main St. if they choose not to eat indoors.

The Village of Haverstraw is North Rockland’s only historic downtown and is a most befitting location to host the Food Crawl given its vibrancy, walkability and it’s famously dense collection of distinguished restaurants and artisan food makers. Downtown is a burgeoning scene of food-focused entrepreneurship, arts, historic buildings, restoration and preservation.
