Catskill Forest Festival

The Catskill Forest Festival is a family-friendly, all-day event that showcases all things forestry-related in the Catskill Region. A variety of local vendors from across the Catskills each bring something unique “From The Forest” to the event.  Whether it’s wildlife, handcrafted wood products, lumberjack shows,  forestry equipment, recreational activities, educational talks, maple producers – anything forestry you can think of – it’s all here. The Catskill Forest Festival is hosted by the Catskill Forest Association (CFA), a nonprofit organization that provides forestry education & services to private Catskill landowners. The purpose of the festival is to foster an appreciation of the many benefits the forests provide to local communities and to society. The all-day event celebrates the forests of the Catskills by bringing together a multitude of forestry-related resources from across the region. Designed not just to be ‘fun-for-the-family’, but also educational and informative for those seeking more guidance and understanding of the forests.
