Greenwood Lake Theater offers patrons a stimulating, dynamic and educational entertainment experience by retelling classic stories through theater, film, music and art.
Over the last 6 years, we’ve produced several fundraisers, three readings, six outdoor Shakespeare shows, and what will be our 2nd musical here in Orange County. In addition we were asked by chashama NYC to perform Hamlet at their 2015 gala and in one of their outdoor spaces.
In that process, we’ve worked with hundreds of actors, designers, vendors, as well as Actor’s Equity Association. Once the company shifted to Greenwood Lake, NY we expanded our personnel, produced a musical locally and have renamed ourselves as Greenwood Lake Theater to better reflect the community we serve.

Winter & Summer Classes
Elementary age kids get to explore theater and acting through theater games on a weekly basis, opening up the kids to new experiences, while learning to be comfortable with playing outside of their comfort zones.
For older kids, each class night has a different focus including acting, musical theater, how to audition, games, scene work, and monologues. Students will experience a wide range of theater topics and will grow as performers throughout the 6 week session.
