Exterior rear view of the Senate House in spring
Stop by the Senate House grounds on Friday, October 3, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and step into the sweet, crisp world of apple cider with this hands-on, family-friendly activity! Visitors can try their hand at using a hand-cranked cider press and learn fun facts about apple harvesting, cider-making traditions, and how communities relied on cider as a staple beverage, just like early American families did each fall. This family-friendly drop-in activity is free and weather-dependent.
