Hooley on the Hudson is an exciting, lively annual Irish music and culture festival held in Kingston, New York. Organized by the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Division 1 of Ulster County and hosted by the City of Kingston, this vibrant one-day event draws over 20,000 visitors from across the Northeast.

The festival boasts three energetic performance areas: the Bill Yosh Stage features top national and international Irish bands; the Feeney Stage highlights talented local musicians from the Hudson Valley; and the Trad Stage offers lively acoustic and traditional session performances. Attendees can enjoy traditional bagpipe performances by the Ulster County AOH Pipes & Drums Band and lively step dancing from regional dance schools.

Dozens of vendors fill the park with delicious festival foods, including classic Irish dishes like corned beef sandwiches and Irish soda bread, along with authentic Irish merchandise. The Lil’ Hooligans Kids Zone, hosted by local partners like Play Haven, provides a fun-filled family space with children’s activities, interactive toys, crafts, and face painting.
