It is the largest Halloween parade in the Hudson Valley and the second-largest in the New York City region.

• 12:00 PM: Pet costume judging starts at Memorial Park.
• 3:00 PM: Human costume and parade float judging begins at Memorial Park.
• 5:30 PM: The parade officially steps off from Memorial Park at Depew Avenue.
• 6:00 PM: The annual “Monster Mash” after-party kicks off at the Nyack Center featuring games, food, and music.
• Rain Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026, if severe weather occurs

The Nyack Halloween Parade snakes through the village’s Main Street and Broadway, attracting a crowd large enough to make even the most seasoned villagers do a double take. Local shops and restaurants deck out their storefronts and whip up themed drinks and treats, because nothing says celebration like a sugar rush. With so many spectators, the Village of Nyack pulls out the big guns with rolling street closures on Broadway, Main Street, and Piermont Avenue starting as early as 3:00 PM. — just in case. And good news: street parking and municipal lots are free on Sundays, even if Mother Nature decides to rain on the parade.
