About Chef Antonio “Tiny” Mora

Tiny’s culinary credentials are impressive. Antonio Mora began his professional cooking career at the legendary Ryland Inn and later worked at Restaurant Daniel. His career eventually led him to several notable New York restaurants, including Morandi in Manhattan and Frankie’s Spuntino and Prime Meats in Brooklyn.

Mora also served as executive chef at Quality Meats and later helped open Quality Bistro.

After the pandemic disrupted operations, Mora worked with Sohail Zandi at Brushland Eating House in nearby Bovina before bringing his talents to Hamden General Store.

The result is a refreshingly unusual Catskills dining experience: a chef with extensive New York City restaurant experience making sandwiches in rural Delaware County.
