June Farms is located on 120 acres of beautiful, fertile land in New York’s Upper Hudson Valley. They refer to the farm as a gentleman’s farm in that they don’t profit from the sale of animals or crops. Their purpose is to be a safe haven for a whole host of heritage breeds, which are the breeds that predate factory farming – the same ones raised by our ancestors centuries ago. At June Farms, these include our Highland cows, Shire horses, Gloucestershire Old Spot & Tamworth pigs, Nubian goats, and chickens.
The farm serves as a joyful and fun sanctuary for all of their heritage breed farm animals and the guests who come to visit them. They can do this by offering daily farm walks year-round. Whether in or out of season, guests can come to June Farms, explore the grounds, and pay a visit to each of the pasture-raised animals.
