Putnam Pride is a day filled with entertainment, including music by DJ Brittany Carrasco, dancing, an open mic, and family activities. The event will have over 30 vendors to browse, including two food trucks, several food tents, and many local nonprofits/educational organizations. Attendees can look forward to Drag Story Time with Angel Elektra, a music circle by Miss Patti, face painting by resident artists, and an open mic hosted by I.Den.t.T, where they can share their talents. The hosts, Angel Elektra and Shay D’Pines will provide the attendees with fierce fun.

This year, the event organizers are focusing on trans visibility and counteracting the rising tide of hate, especially against trans youth. Harassment and defamation of LGBTQ+ people, advocates, and supporters continue both nationally and locally. Therefore, it is essential not to back down or forget what Pride is about. Although celebrating the community is a part of it, attendees are welcome to visit Gilead Church to hear speakers and drive proudly through the community with their cars decorated. The hosts will lead the way.
