Gus’s Hot Dogs is much more than just another hot dog joint. Gus’s is an iconic eatery that has been serving up their famous Award-Winning Hot Dogs and meat sauce since 1954.
The mini dog has been a uniquely Capital Region favorite since the early 1900s, with its perfect blend of beef, pork and spices covered by a naturalcrisp “snap” casing, all rolled up in a 4″ dog and jacketed in a custom sized. hot dog bun. Like most fans will tell you, “Get them with The Works” mustard + onions + meat sauce. You’ll find a small menu there but don’t let that fool you, the place packs a big bite!
Gus’s is very much an old time hot doggery housed in a small building with some seating inside, a walk up service window on the outside and picnic tables with umbrellas.
