Santa Claus is getting ready for Christmas, and children in Rye have a special opportunity to send their holiday wishes directly to the North Pole!
The Rye Recreation Department invites families to join its annual Dear Santa holiday tradition. Two special Santa mailboxes will be available around the city to collect letters from children eager to share their Christmas wishes.
With a little help from Reindeer Express, the letters will make their way to Santa Claus at the North Pole, where Santa and his helpers will try to answer as many as possible.
Children can write their letters, place them in envelopes with a return address, and drop them into either designated Santa mailbox. No postage is necessary!
This charming holiday tradition offers families a simple, memorable way to celebrate the season while adding a little extra Christmas magic for young children.
Participation is free. Be sure to include a return address so Santa can send a reply. Responses are not guaranteed.
