Capital District Teal Pumpkin Party
The Capital District Teal Pumpkin Party is a free, inclusive Halloween celebration for children with food allergies and other dietary or medical concerns. Held at the Capital District YMCA’s Greenbush Branch, it typically welcomes more than 200 children, primarily those in fifth grade and younger.
The event features games, activities, non-food treats, contests, raffles, and prizes; costumes are encouraged. To ensure safety, no food or beverages are consumed at the party. Families may take home allergy-friendly food samples from participating brands.
