New York State’s 4th of July Celebration is an event that everyone can enjoy, featuring live music and entertainment for the whole family, along with the best fireworks show in the region.

Every year, over 20,000 people gather on the Plaza and in the surrounding neighborhoods to be part of the festivities and enjoy special musical performances by some of the Capital Region’s most exciting bands, food and beverage vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display. This year’s celebration will showcase a live performance by Starship featuring Mickey Thomas.
