Herbie’s Burgers is renowned for serving the highest-quality smash burgers, bringing a delicious twist to a classic great. Each burger is crafted from a signature cut of premium grass-fed and grass-finished beef, ensuring rich flavor and exceptional juiciness in every bite. Accompanying the burgers are shoestring fries meticulously cut from 100% Idaho potatoes, renowned for their superior taste and crispiness, making them the perfect side to complement your meal.

They also offer a homemade vegan patty made with real ingredients for all their plant-based friends to enjoy. These wonderful patties are still made in-house. Most other items can also be made vegan, including Herbie’s vegan shakes, which are crafted with his signature house-made tahini and oat milk soft-serve ice cream.

Initially, Herbie could be found popping up at local DIY shows, in front of bars, or at street festivals. However, as the legend of his burgers grew, his followers demanded more. It wasn‘t long before he opened his first brick-and-mortar location on Albany’s historic Lark Street and began working tirelessly, day and night (11 am – 2 am daily).
