Founded over fifty years ago by Leah Margaretten, a gourmet chef and food connoisseur hailing from Hungary, L’Chaim Kosher Catering started out as modest catering business situated in Monsey, NY.
With a talent for creating kosher dishes featuring authentic old-world flavor – and a passion for designing upscale menus boasting new-world elegance – Leah worked hard to promote her catering establishment. She was joined in this venture by her son, Chaim, and they quickly garnered a reputation for meeting the particular needs of every client by creating festive feasts that both dazzled and delighted.
L’Chaim Kosher Catering highly has an experienced team of catering experts and world-class chefs who work hand-in-hand with each client to create the perfect event, overseeing all the many details involving off-premises catering, event planning, food display, professional staffing and general event management.
To eliminate the difficult and costly task of kashering the existing kitchens in a private facility, we maintain a state-of-the-art mobile kitchen, along with portable ovens, that can easily be transported to the hotel or country club of choice.
