Taconic Ridge Farm is beautifully situated on 22 acres where the Taconic Range meets the Berkshire Mountains. This scenic farm features a historic barn, a large farmhouse, a pavilion with a bar, and many charming spots, making it an ideal wedding venue.
The farm includes a spacious farmhouse and cottage that accommodate up to 16 guests, allowing your wedding party to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings throughout the weekend. There is also a large, open rustic barn with 31-foot ceilings, a pavilion with a bar, an overlook deck with panoramic views, a fire pit, trails, and numerous open spaces—ideal for ceremonies or receptions.
Set amidst rolling hills, pastures, and manicured lawns, the farm offers a timeless atmosphere yet is just minutes from the historic towns of Hillsdale and Great Barrington.
Taconic Ridge Farm Ceremony Sites
The main event area is comprised of the barn, the pavilion and the surrounding outdoor space. The barn can seat up to 150 for dinner, with a change over for dancing. Parties under 125 can comfortably have both dining and dancing simultaneously. The facility is permitted for up to 200 guests, however seating for dinner would need to be outside or under a tent.
The Barn
The barn is truly the focal point of the property with it’s 31′ ceiling, exposed wood frame, and beautiful windows that overlook the Taconic Range and the setting sun.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion, just opposite the barn, is usually where every wedding starts and ends. This three sided structure has a bar, leather lounge seating, room for grazing tables, and easy access to the cook tent and fire pit.
The Main House
The main house has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a large gourmet kitchen, a dining room, a spacious living room with wood burning fireplace, and a cozy library. The house and cottage together can accommodate up to 16 overnight guests – perfect for your wedding party.
The Quaint Cottage
The quaint cottage is perfect for a small family or group of friends, but frequently doubles as an additional prep and dressing area. It has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4), a full bath, and a roomy kitchen.
The Overlook Deck
The Overlook Deck, with it’s stunning views, is a quiet spot to retreat to throughout the weekend and can also be used for additional activations like welcome drinks, morning yoga, or Friday BBQ.
