Treehouse Of The August Moon is a Japanese-inspired guesthouse set on 20 wooded acres with creek access along the Shawangunk Ridge. Situated at the end of a gravel road and down a 1,000-foot driveway, it provides access to Rondout Creek, Mohonk Preserve, and the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. Nearby is a private swimming hole on Rondout Creek, excellent for fishing smallmouth bass and bluegills, with tubing also highly recommended.

Wake to the sounds of birds and the river just 40 yards downhill. Wildlife such as wild turkeys, white-tailed deer, red foxes, herons, bald eagles, and red-tailed hawks are commonly seen.

Furnishings include vintage and designer pieces, with soothing colors, original artwork, comfortable seating and bedding, and good lighting creating a harmonious atmosphere. An eclectic library of books and CDs is available. A small, separate kitchenette with essential amenities is on-site. The bathroom features a standard tub and shower.
