The Rich Country Farmhouse is an 1830s farmhouse located just outside of the village of Hobart, New York in the rolling farmland of Delaware County.

Rich Country Farmhouse is nestled in the valley and is bordered by the west branch of the Delaware River. Right through the middle of the property runs the the Catskill Scenic Trail – perfect for a walk, run, cross-country ski, bike ride or a snowmobile trek.
The home was built in the 1830’s and was for many years the “hired hands” house. Actually, two families lived there when it was originally built. Times change and several years ago, the house became vacant for the first time in about 50 years. Rather than let it sit empty, it became a weekend project to remodel and update the building. When the job was done, it was decided not to rent it full time, but to offer it as a vacation getaway. Rich Country Farmhouse is a place where you can put up your feet and relax.
