Real Affair Fishing Charter is a fully licensed and insured fishing company in Newburgh, New York, led by a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Whether you are a beginner or expert, we have a fishing trip that will cater to your needs, skill level, and experience. All Reel Affair Fishing charters include all the equipment and bait you need. Our boat is clean and well maintained, and we have all the necessary safety equipment and life jackets for adults and children of all sizes. Any fish caught during your charter that meets size requirements will be packaged for you to bring home and clean! All other fish will be safely released.

When do you operate?
We are a striper fishing charter boat and operate in the Month of May through the 1st week of June.
You can book a charter with us any day of the week.
Can I bring food on the trip?
Yes. Feel free to bring a soft sided cooler with food and non-alcoholic drinks on the day of your charter. It is also a good idea to have a cooler with ice in your vehicle if you want to keep the stripers you catch.
How many people are allowed?
We allow up to 3 adults per outing or 2 Adults and 2 kids.
How do you know where the fish are?
Being a native of the Hudson Valley sure helps. But I have also been taking groups out to fish for over 10 years.
We also have state of the art fish-finding gear to make it easier too.
Do you clean the fish we catch?
No, we will provide you a bag for your fish so that when you get home you can clean it there.
Will our group need a Marine Registration?
Yes, it is required by New York state law. You can acquire one for free by calling 1-866-933-2257. You do not need a fishing license for this charter.
Where is the boat located?
The boat is located at the Newburgh City boat launch.
Where do I park the day of the charter?
There is free parking just north of the boat launch.
When should I arrive the day of the charter?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early the day of your charter.
