With seven in-house brews to choose from, Rip Van Winkle Brewing Company has a taste that every beer lover will enjoy. Our family opened the first Brewpub in Dutchess County in 1996, the legendary Hyde Park Brewing Co. which continues to be a mainstay in Dutchess County. Now you can enjoy our Catskills brewed beer conveniently located on Route 32 in the Town of Catskill in the land of Rip Van Winkle.

Our menus feature a wide selection of options to choose from including starters like fried calamari, on the lighter side we have soups and salads, paninis and burgers, and of course your favorite Italian Entrees including spaghetti with meatballs, homemade lasagna, linguini with clams, and more!

  • Mountain House Helles
    German Helles lager is golden in color and accompanied with a moderate hop presence that finishes crisp on the palate* ABV: 4.7% IBU: 18 *
  • Kiskatom Brown Ale
    A soft and slightly malty ale which is brewed with choice 2 row barley, chocolate and caramel malts to give off a nutty finish.* ABV: 5.9% IBU: 20 *
  • Rope-A-Dope Oatmeal Stout
    Another installment of our “Catskill Black Beer Series”, this dark and robust ale was brewed with generous amounts of roasted malt and flaked oats. Flaked oats create a smooth mouth feel with a touch of sweetness..* ABV: 5.8% IBU: 22 *
  • Rip Van Wit
    This unfiltered Belgian style ale is brewed with an abundance of wheat that blends well with a balance of coriander and orange peel* ABV: 5.4% IBU:15 *
  • Palenville Pale Ale
    This copper hued brew was concocted with premium pale, dextrin, and caramel malts. Let the copious amount of West Coast hops shine in this American Ale.* ABV: 6% IBU: 48 *
  • Kaaterskill Krush IPA
    This brew was named after the Kaaterskill Falls, the highest cascading waterfall and well know destination for centuries in NY State. This medium bodied IPA boasts an upfront bitterness with a clean and crisp finish. Zythos, Centennial, Amarillo, Citra, and Cascade hops were used. * ABV: 6.5% IBU: 60 *
  • Double Krush DIPA
    Named after it’s little brother, this DIPA boasts an abundance of alcohol, robust flavor and is cascading with Chinook, Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops. * ABV: 8.4% IBU: 74 *
  • Spruce Creek Belgian Pale Ale
    Our version of a Belgian “style” Pale Ale is brewed with pale and other specialty malts which helps create a toasty, biscuity malt character with a deep golden hue. These smooth malt notes combine nicely with the East Kent Goldings hops used. * ABV: 5.2% IBU: 20 *
