R&R Woodworking owner, Robert Jackson, began his woodworking career in 1992. At the age of 19, he began doing custom cabinetry and installation in New York City under the apprenticeship of a local woodworking business. Four years later, he joined another commercial woodworking company where he made custom furniture for the D & D Building in NYC.
In 2002, he chose to leave the commercial woodworking industry to start his own business in his hometown in the Catskills, where he has resided for the past 40 years. For the past decade, he has serviced areas from Albany to New York City. Today, Robert specializes in designing, fabricating, and installing everything from custom-made kitchen cabinetry to built-ins to furniture, etc.
