Ekologic is a fashion centric woman-owned studio and clothing brand located in Troy, New York. Since 1996, Kathleen Tesnakis has been passionately transforming post-consumer cashmere into beautiful, one-of-a-kind wearable art.
They carefully disassemble each recycled cashmere piece by hand, showcasing its unique charm and character. By creatively combining these elements with others, they craft harmonious and charming designs that truly stand out. Every item is crafted with a touch of magic and love, embodying their commitment to sustainability.
As a trailblazer in the “Green Fashion Movement,” Ekologic promotes circular design, helping reduce the need for new materials and chemical processes. So far, they’ve recycled more than 18 tons of woolen garments, mainly cashmere sweaters, turning waste into wonderful, high-quality products.
Each piece is handmade and unique, featuring favorites like cozy cashmere hats, fingerless mittens called Trixies, scarves, cuffs, sweaters, dresses, cozy Hoodie Vests, and banded skirts made from repurposed waistbands.
