Dutchess Outreach serves a complete and nutritious mid-day meal six days a week to those in need and provides a three day supply of groceries to Dutchess County residents who have trouble making ends meet.

Dutchess Outreach also provides advocacy and referral services, and to a limited extent one time financial assistance, to individuals and families facing a documented financial emergency preventing them from being able to afford their medication, rent, or utilities.

The Dutchess Outreach mission is simple, but not easy. Each day an array of people somehow miraculously come together to provide support for the needy in our community. We strive to meet the basic needs of low-income people when no other resources are available to them and to assist them in becoming self-sufficient. We promote community awareness of hunger and other social problems and urge improvement in the response to human needs.
