Turquoise Turkish Restaurant brings a taste of traditional Turkish cuisine to Larchmont, New York along with an atmosphere that is beautiful, warm & inviting.

The influences and affinities one may taste in Turkish dishes range from Central Asian and Persian to Greek, Egyptian, and Jewish. The ancient Turks, and later the Ottomans were canny incorporators of whatever good cooking they found on their migrations or in the far-flung realms of their empire.

The Ottomans fused various culinary traditions of their realm with influences from Middle Eastern cuisines, along with traditional Turk elements from Central Asia such as yogurt. The Ottoman Empire indeed created a vast array of specialities.
