Located on the Hudson River on the Newburgh Waterfront, our goal is to provide a mouthful of smiles with decadent flavors and amazing service.

Our lunch and dinner menus offer a state of the art fresh raw bar, savory robust soups, tempting appetizers, delightful sandwiches and burgers as well as fresh seafood, filet mignon, and a savory stuffed pork chop entrée. We also offer specialty drinks, happy hour specials and decadent desserts. With a flavorful menu, weekly specials, and comfortable atmosphere Captain Jake’s is a delightful dining choice.

Beloved family member Uncle Jake sailed along the coast of Rhode Island, instilling a love of the sea in his family for generations to come. Bill Ranke, a CIA certified chef that has worked in the restaurant business for over 40 years, created this menu to capture Uncle Jake’s spirit and share their family flavors.

  • BACON WRAPPED WASABI SHRIMP – With a bourbon citrus glaze
  • ATLANTIC COD SANDWICH – (Fried or Baked) – Fresh cod served on a roll with house made tartar sauce
  • GRILLED SHRIMP AND LUMP CRAB WRAP – Shrimp, crab, lettuce, tomato & chipotle remoulade
  • LAZY MAN’S LOBSTER CASSEROLE – Chunks of lobster meat with seasoned bread crumbs, sherry wine & drawn butter
