Rainbow’s End Butterfly Farm and Nursery has the plants you need to create your own backyard butterfly habitat.
The nursery at Rainbow’s End is unique…they supply Habitat Kits for attracting specific butterflies. The Kit consists of: biodegradable packaging, plants grown without pesticides or chemicals and plants that not only attract butterflies, but also help create habitat! …the plants must feed both the butterfly (nectar plants) and the caterpillar (host plants). Many butterflies spend their entire lives in an area not much bigger than most backyards, so they can provide a habitat that can support the entire life history of some butterflies… and how cool is that!
Rainbow’s End Butterfly Farm and Nursery offers butterfly releases for birthday celebrations, grand openings, graduations, weddings, Quinceañeras, memorial services, and charity events. Imagine the awe and surprise as our magnificent Monarch butterflies slowly take flight and alight on nearby floral arrangements and bouquets.
You may choose to do Individual Releases – when the butterflies are released from their own individual envelope providing an unparalleled level of guest participation. For a Mass Release, all of the butterflies are placed in a large decorative box. When the moment comes…the lid is taken off the box and the butterflies flutter away.

Our activities start in mid may and we are delighted to offer educational presentations, lectures for schools, and education kits of live butterflies to Scouts and camp groups, garden clubs and butterfly lovers of all ages. Outdoor field trips at our farm can be geared to any age group by appointment.”
