The Tilly Foster Farm museum is a preservation, farming and educational endeavor of the Society for the Preservation of Putnam County Antiquities and Greenways, Inc. (aka Preserve Putnam County) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The 199 acre Farm is located in the Town of Southeast in Putnam County, NY.

Enjoy rare and endangered early American farm animals, Antique Tractor and Farm Equipment Musuems. Sign up for horseback riding lessons and pony rides. In addition, the public is welcome to partake in various passive recreational activities at Tilly Foster Farm: Hiking, Picnicking, Winter Snowshoeing and Fishing.

Tilly Foster Farm Museum houses a wonderful collection of antique tractors and farm equipment located in the Main Barn and basement of Building 8 (The Lodge). The Putnam County Antique Machinery Association (PCAMA) has loaned these items to complete the Antique Machinery Museum at the Farm. The Museum is open daily. In addition, PCAMA hosts a special weekend in September with live demonstrations of many historical pieces including wooden water rig, corn husker, pumps and more.

Rare and Endangered Early American Farm Animals:
Tilly Foster Farm is home to several rare breeds of early American Farm animals.

Antique Farm Equipment and Tractor Museum: Housed at Tilly Foster Farm in Building 8 and the Main Barn, is a unique collection of farm equipment and tractors.

Educational Programs: In addition to activities offered as part of our public programming for special events, Tilly Foster Farm offers an array of environmental and farm education programs for schools, youth groups and tours.
