At Maxine’s Catering & Bittersweet Bakers all wedding and specialty cakes are prepared using only the finest ingredients- imported butter, the freshest cream, imported chocolates, fresh local fruits in season and high quality jams and preserves.

For over 25 years their team has worked closely with every client offering a personal approach and meticulous attention to detail to create a unique, beautiful and delicious cake or dessert for any celebration. The Cake Design Team has brought their extensive talents from years of experience creating beautiful and unique wedding cakes. They are known throughout the region for their eye for detail, creative ideas and delicious tasting cakes and desserts.

  • YELLOW CAKE – a deliciously moist, vanilla flavored cake
  • CHOCOLATE – a dark, intensely chocolate cake with a hint of coffee flavor
  • LEMON POPPY SEED – a white cake filled with poppy seeds flavored with lemon (iced with lemon flavored cream cheese or butter cream icing)
  • HONEY ROSEMARY – a rustic style cake flavored with honey and fresh rosemary
  • BANANA WALNUT – fresh banana flavored cake with walnuts
  • CARROT – uniquely flavored with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom and allspice

  • GANACHE – a rich chocolate filling that is a cross between a truffle and a mousse
  • BUTTER CREAM – by itself or with a layer of the preserve of your choice: raspberry, strawberry, apricot, blueberry, blackberry
