The Solitude Inn is situated on a dead end road, and boasts 200 acres of cleared land, woods, stands of Fraser Fir Christmas trees, and old roads for hiking. It is surrounded on three sides by New York City land, thousands of acres of which are available for hiking. A section of the Finger Lakes Trail is easily accessible at the end of Chamberlain Brook Road. In addition, NYS Route 10 is a designated bike path.

Bed linens and towels are provided, as are all necessary kitchen items. Grocery shopping service is also available. Provide us with a list, and arrive with the refrigerator and pantry stocked to your specifications. The water supply to the farmhouse is crystal-clear spring water, so there is no need to bring or purchase bottled water.

In addition to secluded getaways, The Solitude Inn is perfect for out-of-town family and friends who are in the area to attend parties, showers, weddings, family reunions, and memorial services.

Reservations are taken for weekend, weekly, monthly, and long-term rentals. The entire house and property are for your use for the duration of your stay.
