Rondout Woodworking is a group of skilled craftsmen committed to quality work. Jim, along with long time crew members Peter Kricker, and Wayne Ford, offer services on all aspects of building and restoration of mills, wooden boats, and barns. Their work often involves undertaking and completing projects that have been labeled hopeless by other contractors.

Rondout Woodworking has a fully equipped shop designed to handle both large and small projects. Along with modern woodworking machinery, they have an extensive collection of antique hand tools, enabling them to reproduce period finishes including hewn timbers. Metalworking facilities include gas, stick, and mig welding; as well as forging, boring, milling, and turning capabilities.
