Bard & Baker Board Game Cafe is the Capital District’s first board game café, located in the original historic Troy Record Building in downtown Troy, NY, featuring over 750 titles, ranging from classics such as CLUE, Stratego & Scrabble to contemporary games like Catan, Ticket to Ride & Ascension.
Bard & Baker Troy is our original location, located at 501 Broadway in the heart of downtown Troy, NY. Bard & Baker Troy opened its doors to the public October 2018 with an original board game library of just over 350 titles to play.
Now, we boast over 800 board games to play in our library, with a wonderful rotating selection of in store events ranging from Intro to Dungeons & Dragons, D&D One Shots, Crafting Meetups, Cosplay Meetups, Game Designer Meetups and so much more!
We opened our second location in the heart of downtown Albany at 1034 Madison Avenue, right next to The Madison Theatre, October 2021! Bard & Baker Albany is an espresso bar & pastry shop featuring a selection of over 200 board games.
