The farm’s history dates back to the mid-2000s when the family decided to start raising a small herd of Highland beef cattle. These cattle are renowned for their hardy nature and rich, flavorful meat. During the warm summer months, when the grasses in the surrounding pastures flourish, the cattle graze intensively on the lush, highland hillside pastures, taking advantage of the abundant natural forage. As the seasons shift and temperatures begin to drop, the herd is brought back to the farm where they are supplemented with farm-harvested hay to ensure they maintain their health and nutritional intake throughout the colder months.
