Red Kill Mountain Homestead Farms are foragers of wild fruit from a collection of abandoned homestead farms located deep within the heart of the Catskill Mountains. The traditional homestead products are harvested and preserved from what is already in balance with nature.

Red Kill is the first and only known merchant of wild apples as edible, fresh eating apples. They are the makers of thoughtful food products that preserve both heritage and history.

Some Of The Red Kill Mountain Homestead Farms Products

APPLE MOLASSES
Apple Molasses, also known as Cider Syrup, is the flagship product of Red Kill Mountain Homestead Farms. We hand-select and hand-harvest our wild apples and press them into sweet cider, the cider is then boiled down into the delightful final product, Apple Molasses.

BOURBON BARREL MAPLE SYRUP
Our sap bush is located in the heart of the New York City watershed. This means our forest is protected and safely within the boundaries of the Forever Wild Catskill Mountains.

APPLE SPREAD
We hand-select and hand-harvest our wild apples and process them in small and slow batches. Because our apples have never been sprayed or manipulated by man, we proudly leave the skins on our apples. The Apple Spread is hand-blended with our Apple Molasses, bringing the flavor to the next level.

WILD APPLE TASTING BOX
This order is for a box of WILD APPLES. We forage our apples by hand from a mountainside – not an apple orchard. The apples are not sprayed nor is there any type of pest management. The apples are not covered in artificial waxes for shipping. The apples will arrive exactly as they are found in the forest setting.
