Dam Good English Muffins are “Handmade for Goodness Sake!” by Johnson & Wales Culinary School graduates Denise & Ross Weale, in Croton-on-Hudson, New York (home of the world-famous Croton Dam, get it?) and are available in 3 varieties: White, Cinnamon Swirl & Honey Wheat and are made without any preservatives from premium ingredients.

These crafted all natural muffins can be purchased at retailers, restaurants, farmers markets and farm stands throughout the Lower Hudson Valley or in their online store.

Dam Good English Muffins Are:

  • Made with the highest-quality, all-natural, non-GMO ingredients, like unbleached King Arthur flour, and do not contain any dough conditioners (added to bread dough to strengthen its texture and extend shelf life) or preservatives.
  • Mixed with two separate sourdough starters (levain and poolish) which, after toasting, makes Dam Good English Muffins a little crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Some customers have described them as having a texture that’s between a commercially-made English muffin and a bagel.
  • “Handmade for Goodness Sake” and are also hand cut so they have unique shapes and sizes–which makes every one different.
